The leading stars are still in the spotlight, just like Margot Robbie. It seems that the successful actress isn’t stopping there, as she’s set to reappear on screen in a brand new film. This time, it’s a project as famous as the actress herself: The Sims world is coming to the big screen!
The Sims is a virtual reality game that allows players to control various aspects of their characters' lives. This virtual reality, where control and storytelling come to life, has quickly built an active community. With Margot Robbie involved, it’s certain that the game’s fanbase will grow even more.
Robbie, one of the co-founders of Luckychap Films, will take on the role of producer, with the screenplay written by Briody Redman and direction by Kate Herron. Kate Gorman, the general manager of Electronic Arts (EA), the parent company of The Sims, stated, “The only thing I can tell you is that the film is very much tied to The Sims universe and reflects a truly authentic Sims experience on the big screen,” easing some curiosity while raising expectations.
